Saracens flanker Jacques Burger and Exeter Chiefs full-back Chrysander Botha have been named in Namibia's 50-man World Cup training squad.

Burger, who played 18 times last season as Saracens claimed their second Premiership title, is one of five players included who appeared in both the 2007 and 2011 tournaments.

Meanwhile, Botha has been named in the squad despite seeing his first season at the Chiefs disrupted heavily by a broken leg and dislocated ankle.

Coach Danie Vermeulen has also called up 27 of the squad currently competing in the Nations Cup in Bucharest.

The current group of 50 players will meet in Windhoek in early July to prepare for the games against Russia in the Namibian capital on July 11 and 18. Vermeulen must trim the squad to his final 31 by the August 31 deadline.
